Scott T. Smith, Esq., LLC

Scott T. Smith has been practicing law for over 30 years.  He began his career at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. in Woodbridge, New Jersey as a commercial litigator and an environmental attorney.  In 1992, Scott started his own law firm in Monmouth County and expanded his practice areas to include transactional work, real estate matters, commercial leasing and general business counsel.

Scott practices in State Superior Court, Federal District Court and before New Jersey regulatory agencies.  He acts as counsel to mid-size companies in their business dealings, contract matters and regulatory proceedings.  Scott also represents companies in environmental matters such as the defense of government enforcement actions and clean-up claims, in environmental insurance coverage actions and cost recovery suits.  He also handles acquisitions and sales of environmentally impaired sites.
